To heal his soul, a filmmaker obeys a dangerous command from Alejandro Jodorowsky: to re-enact the helicopter crash that killed his mother, along with rock music impresario Bill Graham. Inspired by Ari Gold’s student-Oscar winning short film, “Helicopter” asks the radical question: can we heal from trauma by re-writing it? This work in progress won the Grand Jury Prize at FEST New Directors New Films & was a selection of Film London PFM.
